Deer Park Villa Wedding in Fairfax Under the Redwood Trees

The weather was perfect for this local couple's wedding on Monday at Deer Park Villa. They used a lot of local vendors which was great, including my friend Dina who runs the always delicious Siren Sisters Kitchen here in Fairfax. The groom is originally from Australia and the bride Brazil.


The usual getting ready business included the couples fur child, a dachshund named Apollo. Then we had a sweet first look followed by the ceremony with some spectacular spotlighting from the sun. Cocktail hour, tears during toasts, a slight cake cutting mishap with a piece going down the brides dress. First dance, bouquet toss into the cross beam, and dancing the night away. Another great wedding in the books!
