It seems like a rare occurrence for me to travel outside of Marin to shoot a wedding, but when you have one of your favorite planners recommending you to a sweet down to earth couple, and they book a venue that is GORGEOUS, then I am in!

On Saturday I cruised up to Sebastopol to find an idyllic venue with vineyards lining the driveway on the way in, a perfectly manicured rose garden of pathways. Two beautiful homes on the property that can be rented out for the weekend. A large red barn, redwood grove, private grassy reception area with hedges lining it. A big area for cocktail hour or a wedding ceremony. A pool. Because of course there is a pool. And then views out the back of the property of vineyards forever. After I had walked the property, I was very excited for all of the potential.

The couple had their wedding ceremony in Sea Ranch a few days before that my associate Katelyn shot. (I hear there were whales!) So this day of my shoot was a cocktail hour/reception/dance party. We started off with some family and couple pics and then we moved to cocktail hour when guests arrived. At one point the coordinator and I looked at each other and wondered why we weren't more stressed, and realized it was because there was no ceremony! Made the day so much easier and had such a nice flow to it. I'm on board with this. Do an intimate ceremony another day and then have a big party for everyone!

We headed to reception for a delicious dinner and then did some sunset couple pics with a gorgeous sky. This led to dancing into the night.

Beautiful day and beautiful people. I'm so lucky to get to do this with such great vendors and couples. It's truly a pleasure and an honor.

Thank you to all of the vendors for making the day perfect for everyone.
