Deer Park Villa Wedding Under the Redwood Trees in Fairfax, California

Another gorgeous wedding at Deer Park Villa from this past Saturday, and it was extra special because of the family of the bride getting married there. She is the niece of the owner of the venue, Mike Ghiringhelli, and the great grand daughter of the original owners of Deer Park Villa, when it used to be a restaurant. Her great grandparents planted the redwoods that are revered there today. There were a lot of Ghiringhelli's at the wedding so of course we had to get a big family photo of the crew under those redwoods.
The bride's aunt was kind enough to do the hair for the bride and I think it was her who put up a beautiful umbrella that was hanging in the room where the bride got ready. A unique family tradition. We did first look with dad and then first look with the groom. Private vows with happy tears all around. The ceremony was perfect, with a few deer scampering about. It's not called Deer Park Villa for nothing. Family and couple pictures followed by a beautiful reception and great toasts. Cake cutting, first dances and couple portraits led right into an energetic dance party featuring invisible jump rope and dodging cartwheeling guests. And I can't forget the delicious homemade cannoli's, by the bride's aunt. Yum!
I had so much fun with the couple and guests and felt honored to be at such a special wedding there. Thank you to all of my vendor friends that make the day fun and easy for me too!
