Elegant Maple Lawn Wedding in San Rafael, CA

Saturday's wedding was at the always lovely Maple Lawn in San Rafael. I shoot about one to two wedding a year here, and can't get enough of the old mansion on the property. So much great lighting and unique rooms that the possibilities are endless for photos.

The day started with some drinks in the bar with the groom and his brothers and mom. Followed by some games of Magic the Gathering in the billiards room. The bride and her friends and mom got ready upstairs where we did some portraits in the beautiful sun room.

Perfect temp and lighting for ceremony. Cocktail hour fun. First dance, dinner, couple portraits, a few noisy turkeys, Mt. Tam views, toasts, more dances, cake cutting, and then the night finished with Jagermeister.
