Rain Kissed Meadow Club Wedding in Fairfax
No one is thrilled to have rain on their wedding day, but from my experience shooting rainy day weddings, they always end up better than expected for everyone. This wedding from last Thursday up at the historic golf course, Meadow Club, was no exception.
Some deer greeted us at the original ceremony site, as the couple began to get ready. The couples sweet pooch, Milo, was a great addition to every single photo. I had to purposely try to not take photos of him to mix it up.
After first look and some signing of the marriage license, everyone was ready to get the show on the road. Since we had to go inside for the ceremony, the staff were able to setup a beautiful area for it to take place, including a fire.
The rain let up finally right after ceremony so we were able to head out for some couple pictures with the hills and the deer. The couple had not one but three cakes to choose from to cut. Followed by a fun first dance and then into open dancing for the remainder of the the night. It was a joyous day for everyone and the rain didn't dampen anyones sprits in the least.
